FBE (Fusion Bond Epoxy) coating was developed for long-term external corrosion protection of pipelines. FBE consists of a fusion bond epoxy powder applied to a heated, abrasively cleaned pipe.
Product Features:
- With a choice of several powder coatings, FBE can withstand operating temperatures from -40°C to 65°C (minimum thickness 0.30mm/11.8 mils)*
- Intended for use as an external coating system for buried or submerged oil and gas pipelines
- Offers excellent adhesion and cathodic disbondment resistance
- Developed for moderate to high temperatures
